It is important to be aware that if you choose to participate in any of my services, there may be times when strong mental and/or emotional feelings arise. This is all part of the work I do to support others to navigate change. It is designed to assist you to understand who you are so that you can harness your own inner resources to enable yourself to live more skillfully through shifting times.  If at any point you feel that the practices and tools offered are creating an overwhelming experience for you, you are absolutely free to stop these practices without any undue pressure from me.  I can provide the names and contacts of others who offer professional support in the areas that are outside my scope of expertise.  You should never feel obliged to continue to practice or do something that makes you feel uncomfortable or uneasy, or creates any kind of pain for you, whether physical or emotional.

With particular reference to aromatherapy products, it is important that you are aware that essential oils are potent substances and their use can involve risks.  Instruction and safety sheets are provided with essential oil blends and it is important that you read and follow these so that you are aware of any risks associated with a particular essential oil or carrier product. Essential oils can cause harm to pregnant women, those with high and low blood pressure, heart disease, kidney disease, epilepsy and many other health conditions.  Many of them should never be ingested or some should only be ingested under the guidance of a qualified practitioner.  Any information provided here is for general purposes only and you should seek the advice of your Doctor or other health practitioner before using such products to support your own health.

Specific Instructions for Life Guidance sessions:

If you choose to work with me in taking charge of how you navigate your life, it is assumed that you will have reflected and concluded that:

  • you feel ready to explore the patterns or belief systems that limit you;
  • you are comfortable to sit with disturbance in what may arise for you in different sessions or workshops;
  • and that you are willing to be open to suggestions or guidance from me about what might be helpful to move through this shift in your experience.

Professional Advice

Although I have extensive qualifications in a range of professional areas that enable me to support you to live well and to navigate change in your life, I am not a qualified Mental Health practitioner.  If the need for professional mental health support should arise, I will encourage you to seek this support with someone who has qualifications in areas that are beyond the extent of my expertise.

Intellectual Property

Everything you read on this site (apart from quotes that are credited) has been researched and thoughtfully written by me in a way that expresses my own passions and knowledge and expertise.  I offer free classes, consultation chats, and downloads with generosity but please do not steal my words (including carefully crafted phrasing in Yoga Nidra meditations).  This is contrary to the yogic principles of asteya (non-stealing – where you refrain from taking anything that is not freely offered to you) and aparigraha (non-grasping – where you covet others’ qualities or talents).  Work from your higher potential, express your own words and wisdom and influence your karma positively.

A free 30 minute initial consultation is available at certain times on Monday-Thursday.  Please email me or use contact form from this website and I will get back to you to arrange a suitable time for us to chat.

If we agree to work together, for any ongoing appointments, once a fixed time is agreed, please try to keep this.  Of course things happen for all of us that change our commitments and so if you need to cancel a scheduled appointment that can be managed.  Please try to do this at least 4 hours in advance and I will reschedule as soon as another time slot is available.  If you do not attend for an agreed appointment and do not provide any notice, 50% of the hourly fee will be payable.

Refund Policy & Consumer Guarantees

What to do if you are not satisfied with a product or service

I strive to ensure you are happy with my services and products.  If something has gone wrong, I am keen to understand what that is so that I can address your concerns and try to find a mutually acceptable solution.

If you feel that there is any problem with my services or products, please give me a call or email me and I will strive to resolve the issue.  Please let me know as soon as you can (within 24 hours or before the end of a session).

Essential Oil Products

The ideal thing for both you and me is that you sample the testers and think carefully before deciding on which essential oil products to purchase.  I aim to please customers with the blends that I create.  However, if you are unhappy with an essential oil product, please let me know as soon as you can and I will refund you or offer a credit for other products to the same value of the original item.

If you purchase an essential oil product and you simply change your mind, I will refund or exchange as long as you have not used or tampered with the product in any way.

Yoga & Meditation Classes

I am generous in how I share yoga with others.  First classes are offered free to those who are unsure; discounts are offered to those who purchase by the term; and more flexible ways can be offered if you are keen to attend a class but are on a low income.

As you are likely to have been offered a free first class, I will assume that if you attend after this, you are choosing to do so as you enjoy the system of yoga I offer.  If you pay for a term and then change your mind, I will consider whether a refund for the classes not participated in can be offered. If a term discount is included in your purchase and you are unable to attend any week for minor illness or other reason, you will not receive a refund for any missed classes, unless there are extenuating circumstances.

Workshops & Retreats

Workshops and retreats are generally booked and paid for in advance.  If you are unable to attend a workshop or retreat that you have paid for, and there are extenuating circumstances, a full refund will be considered if the vacated spot in the workshop can be filled.  Otherwise a partial refund will be offered (with a deduction of 10% if cancelling 2 weeks or more before the workshop or retreat, and 20% if cancelling less than 2 weeks before the workshop is held, and 50% if cancelling 24 hours before the workshop is held.
