Yoga and meditation Classes
I don’t teach the usual kind of yoga.
For me yoga is about how you live your life.
Practices in class are offered to help you regulate your nervous system as well as connect with who you are. Insights explored and gained in practice enable you to live your life with more balance, confidence and awareness.
Be free to work at your own pace and to immerse yourself in the practices that nourish you.
Yoga & Meditation Classes
I offer a classical style of yoga that encourages practitioners to explore their body, mind and emotions in a safe and supported environment. I also share the knowledge I have gained from contemporary research that shows that taking yoga slowly and mindfully supports nervous system functioning and positive changes in the workings of the brain – which enables us all to to live our lives with more steadiness and insight.
All practices are suitable for everyone – irrespective of age, fitness, health status, flexibility, body size etc.
A mix of physical practices (asanas), breathing techniques (pranayama) and meditation are taught in each class. Experience the deeply, nourishing practice of Yoga Nidra meditation.
Classes take place in a small yoga space under my house in Bermagui, Southern NSW or in dedicated yoga venues for large groups.
General Class
Thursdays 9.30 – 11 am
This class is suitable for all. In person attendance only.
No prior experience needed.
$20 ($15 concession) per class or pay $135 ($120 concession) for an 8 week term and save.
Wednesdays 6-7.30 pm
This class is suitable for those with some experience of this style of yoga. Via zoom and in person (numbers limited).
$20 ($15 concession) per class or pay $135 ($120 concession) for an 8 week term and save.
However if this is the time that works best for you, practices can be offered to support you to work at your own pace.
Relaxation and Meditation Hour
Tuesdays at 7pm
A mix of mindfulness and inquiry meditation practices and a Yoga Nidra to support you to live life with focus and calm. Delivered via zoom but potential for in person attendance.
$12 per session ($10 concession) or pay $80 ($70 concession) for an 8 week term and save.
One-on-One sessions
I offer individualised sessions to suit your specific goals in relation to yoga and/or meditation.
This is charged at $60 per hour.
